Hi I have Toshiba C50-B motherboard da0blimb6f0 rev: f. Owner said it has slight liquid damage but the only thing I could see was the ram slot and the sio looked a bit odd.
It turns on by itself when adapter is inserted and if you hold powerbutton for a bit it switches off the immediately back on. It shows black screen, draws .5A without battery and 1.5a when battery is inserted from bench supply, fan spins for about a second or so and then Cpu heats up fan will not spin again no matter how hot the Cpu gets. I have reflashed the bios with the latest from toshiba but still the same. Im getting 3.3v/5v/1.02/1.06 around the board. I have also mislaid U17 after removing it to see what the unit would do, previous post identified as i2c eeprom for security or laptop id chip but the unit is doing exactly the same as before it was removed. I have previously replaced the sio chip but again the same issues, the laptop switches itself on regardless of battery inserted or not, as there is no cmos battery on the board. I cannot locate the schematics for this unit either.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
