Hi every one!

I'm dealing with hp630, which shuts down after 15 to 20". I tried with a bare board (mobo + proc +memory only), same thing, shut down at bios screen.
I tried the trick of pushing power button for 30 to 40", cleaned fan and put new paste, same problem.
I noticed that before shutting down, the fan spins at full speed and becomes noisy. No excessive heat of chips.

When running without ram (DDR3), it never shuts down. Tested with new good ram, same problem.

Write a platform
Do full dump of BIOS ic by burning machine and upload.

Also you can to burn this (do a backup first)

Does the dump file you link to, refer to this platform ?

Meanwhile, for unknown reason, lap became in a dead situation : 3.5V and 5V are now absent. No short circuit found, will dry solder IC and see.
I have to relieve this new situation first, unfortunately, I have no schematic.

I already got CHICAGO_I_HR_HPC_S (Intel) schematic through this forum.

Further steps made to fix the new issue (no 3.5V and 5V ALW) :
Dry solder IC didn't help. Found Vin supply current limiting resistor grown in value and changed it. After replacement, TPS51123 became very hot.
I think it needs to be replaced.

As TPS51123 is not now available in our market, is there any recommended IC replacement i.e Max, Winbond or any other...?

RT8223BGQW, but compare the datasheets...

Yes, "svs198", RT8223B should suite as replacement for TPS51123.
RT8223A might be also a replacement through a small modification.

Unfortunately, both are not yet available on our market!

Check the heat transfer tube. I have met a few times at once on HP this model line

By "heat transfer tube", do you mean to check any tube for abnormal heat or a specific one ?

Yes. Take and heat pad (cpu) on the tube. and look at the the heatsink temperature (cell). temperature should be identical throughout surface of the pipe

May I replace tps51123A with tps 51125, the only difference I found in datasheet is pin18 named VCLK(frequency) in tps51125 and ENC in tps51123 ?
