hi folks,
we have here a HP Probook 4720s wich takes no power at all. We connect 19V to the board and no current is running into the board.
We've checked all fuses and didn't see any damage to the board.

Is there anybody out there who can help us find the problem with this board?

If understood correctly, you are not charging the laptop. If so, then maybe you have your laptop out of service components are responsible for the definition of the input voltage (the average output to the power connector). Or problems with the unit, there is no voltage on the middle pin.

hey, ty for ur reply. we just checked all things from outside.

the current is coming from the jack to the board but gest lost on the board anywhere maybe u know which parts could cause this problem.

The options are:
1 - Power is lost immediately after the power connector on the motherboard to the input of the converter.
(possibly faulty fuse, a circuit interruption)
2 - Power disappears when the input of the converter. (maybe a problem with the chip converter itself or its Mosfet).
Or rather hard to say.
