Hi, I have strange problem with DQ15, This MB cannot recognize Discrete Graphic in windows( to any device found) but we have Nvidia Graphic Chipset on the MB. I sew bios by mane different file( including files in this website) but nothing changed,

Check the bios if there option "video mode" switched to "UMA only". Change it to "discrete" or "optimus" or whatever.
Also check the power of the graphic chip. It should be about 1 volt and of course the chip should be heating up.
If all these conditions are observed - I would replace the chip.

Graphic Chip warming Up and Power is near 1 volt and no option in bios for UMA or Discrete. So you suggest to change Nvidia graphic chipset or PCH(HM57)?

First of all you need to update the BIOS to the latest version of the official site, using the Service Tag on the bottom of the notebook.

Additionally, you should make sure that this is not a problem with the software - to install Windows on a different hard drive.

I do these before exactly. I have such problem before with another N5110 MB but by downgrading BIOS this issue went OK. but in this MB I really confused!!!

If you have an oscilloscope, you can check out the video chip crystal oscillator, which is located near the GPU. The frequency should be around 27 MHz. This means that the chip is probably alive. You can also check the tire PCIExpress (ping each capacitor in both directions).

hi, i want to disable ati graphics on this motherboard(dq15), but i coudnt figure out how to do that. Does it work if i change bios to uma or should i use strap(but cant find R8005) for it ? i need boardview to locate it.
