hi all i have this sony vgc-ls30 computer the power does not come on the stdby voltages 3.3v and 5v all ok ,i have download fresh bios also still no activity .the max8734a is for 3.3v and 5v all ok .and max8743a qfn which power south bridge 1.05v and 1.8v not present .itraced the max8743a signal on1 and on2 go which is with a 10 ohms divider resistor go to ene 3910sf c1 the clock 32khz is ok i tried to give 5v vcc to max8743 on1,on2 and now 1.05v and 1.8v are ok but still the machine not coming on.i have changed all components max8734a,max8743,ene kb3910sf .the only think left is southbridge nh82801gbm and nothbridge.any idea on this set. about power problem

what about the chargin PWM-controller? try to replace it.

hello again lamo this vaio is a all in one pc latop /tv is does not have a chargin pwm.but there is a ic sc486 is it something to do with switching smps or then is it the southbridge but one thing very strange no power on southbridge at all the 1.05v missing and the south bridge dont look short.
