Hi guys,

I replaced the CPU (Pentium SR0VQ) on this LA-9104P (it was dead before) and now I get 7 beeps.

I have flashed EC and PCH bios chips with good dumps.

I have NOT flashed KB9012 because I try with Vertanov's programmer and a 1.0mm to 0.8mm / 30pin adapter but the I/O is not detected.

The laptop turns on, LED ok, FAN ok but after a while I hear 7 beeps from the speaker.

Any ideas?

It seems that the VCC_Core is not coming up - but there is not a short (?), diode mode measurement 0,001 (around 3ohms).

The PWM was replaced (the ENable signal is present at pin2 of ISL95833H) but still no voltage..

I lifted the coil (PL701) and injected 1V - there is a maximum 1,3A current draw - no more than that. Nothing gets hot of course with so little wattage..

You think its a bad CPU? I have replaced many without problems (using Finetech Fineplacer PICO RS so not easy to kill the chip)
